In Travelers recent report the latest poll shows that computer-related issues have moved to the second largest concern for businesses. In 2014 it was ranked fifth. Furthermore, in the breakdown, it shows that in all risk categories small businesses are concerned less than other larger businesses. This is why hackers are preying on small businesses. The reality is that a good company, no matter what the size, should be a balanced company–the percentage of revenue should be dispersed across all portions of the business with the right formula. For example, a small business will have smaller marketing funds, smaller staff funding, and not a large building expense. An out of balance company would be the equivalent of that little doughnut tire attached to a large sedan cruising down the freeway like everyone else. That’s a disaster waiting to happen.
